**About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Park Conservation Specialist at Fort Trumbull State Park in New London, CT.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental conservation principles and practices. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine park maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining trails and facilities
  • Removing invasive species
  • Assisting with wildlife management

In addition to performing these duties, you will also work closely with other team members to develop and implement long-term conservation plans for the park.

This is a seasonal position, requiring a minimum of 5 shifts per week, including weekends, with a maximum of 1,030 hours total. The estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour.
