Audubon Companies, a leading EPC firm, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems for our LNG projects.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination of Power Island and Balance of Plant (BOP) interfaces, conduct system studies, and ensure adherence to technical project specifications. Your responsibilities will include the thorough review of design documents, maintaining the technical integrity of engineering designs, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate effectively with both EPC and Owner teams.
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure alignment with technical specifications.
  • Provide expertise in LNG Power Island and BOP design, including knowledge of applicable US codes.
  • Engage with other engineering disciplines to resolve multi-discipline technical challenges.
  • Maintain the technical integrity of electrical engineering designs, including but not limited to:

Area Classifications, Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Studies, Motor Starting Power System Studies, Protection Coordination Studies, AC and DC Arc Flash Studies, Protection Setting Files, Grounding Studies, Lightning Protection Studies, Single Line Diagrams, Protection System Design, AC and DC Schematics, UPS Systems, ATS Systems, Energy Management Systems, and Cable Sizing Calculations.

Address technical inquiries and Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors.
Participate in critical design reviews and ensure readiness for such reviews.
Monitor changes against the established baseline scope.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an EPC environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Experience leading medium to large multi-discipline projects is preferred.
  • Prior experience with LNG projects is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in the design of Power Island facilities is essential.
  • Familiarity with Power Systems and related studies is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards is necessary.
