Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled FIRE SAFETY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. Quality work and attention to detail are crucial in this role as fire sprinkler systems can mean life and death.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, modification, and repair of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet NFPA13 specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records by filling out work tickets and submitting them when work is completed.
  • Work under limited supervision and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation.
  • Knowledge of NFPA13, 25, and California Fire Code.
  • Valid driver's license without restrictions and Cal Fire fitter certification.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and ability to read inspection reports, product specification sheets, O&M manuals, drawings, blueprints, and fire codes.
