Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and serving as the technical advisor and product advocate for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains expert level of product knowledge and application
  • Listens, understands, and conveys customer requirements
  • Manages technical deliverables for engineered to order projects
  • Serves as technical contact for customers relating to warranty or field issues
  • Responsible for maintaining professional business relationships
  • Provides technical support for customer visits, preparing technical presentations, and is the lead engineering representative for preparing quotes and/or drawings and models
  • Leads the product design efforts to meet specific customer requirements

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or 2 years minimum experience in a Technical/Industrial/Manufacturing or Engineering field
  • Knowledge of manufacturing design and processes required with basic knowledge of sheet metal and structural fabrication
  • Scientific analysis, root cause analysis skills, problem-solving techniques, and applied Knowledge of the physical/chemical principles of heat and mass transfer and fluid dynamics
