We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Medicine team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and wound care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
