The role of the Chemical Service Specialist is crucial in overseeing the Chemical Account Program within the Johnston Food Service & Cleaning Solutions sector. This position entails managing various services including Laundry, Ware wash, Housekeeping, Grease Trap Maintenance, and chemical dispensing. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining equipment, driving sales initiatives, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring comprehensive administrative documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical dilution systems
  • Provide on-site service for customer equipment
  • Manage a designated route and service customer-owned machinery
  • Address service requests promptly to uphold customer satisfaction
  • Deliver training sessions to clients on products and equipment usage
  • Oversee inventory levels and maintain company vehicles
  • Exhibit professionalism and foster positive client relationships
  • Support sales of equipment and chemicals
  • Execute assigned Work Orders and maintain tools effectively
  • Assist in installations and repairs of machinery
  • Compile weekly summaries of transactions and operational events

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years in technical repair and/or service roles
  • Possession of a valid Driver's license
