Job Description

The Electronics Inspector will be responsible for visually inspecting solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies to meet industry specifications, including IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. You will use various measuring devices, instructions, drawings, and checklists to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect solder connections on surface mount and plated thru hole components
  • Verify conformal coating of Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements
  • Interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions
  • Collaborate effectively with all levels of manufacturing to address quality defects
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting solder connections and conformal coating of PWBs
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Personal Computers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
