South Bend, Indiana, United States Aequor Technologies Full time

Aquor Technologies is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility in South Bend, IN. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Aquor, you will evaluate and assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents of skilled nursing facilities (SNF). You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing deficits, enhancing residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities include providing direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions. You will also educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support communication and swallowing needs at home and in the facility. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, is essential to ensure comprehensive care for residents.

You will be required to conduct regular progress assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet residents' evolving needs. Documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies is crucial. Participating in care planning meetings, providing expert input on residents' communication and swallowing needs, is also an essential part of this role.

To be successful in this position, you must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is mandatory. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting is required.

Aquor offers a competitive salary of $55,296 per year, which translates to approximately $1865.98/week. Benefits include tax-free housing and meal stipend, first-day health insurance coverage, weekly direct deposit, sick days/PTO, travel reimbursement, 401k eligibility after the first year, credentialing assistance, CEU/Tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
