Job Summary: The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily activities within the facility, including warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and overall operational management. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will create and execute strategies to enhance stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity. This position plays a key role in fostering continuous improvement and optimizing all facets of plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:

· Supervise the complete production cycle, ensuring effective manufacturing processes.

· Formulate and implement production timelines to satisfy customer requirements.

· Assess production performance and modify schedules to guarantee timely product delivery.

· Ensure the facility operates within the allocated budget.

Quality Assurance:

· Uphold high-quality standards for all manufactured products.

· Establish and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Promptly address and resolve any quality-related issues.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

· Ensure operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

· Develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.

· Conduct regular safety evaluations and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Team Leadership:

· Direct and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff.

· Recruit, train, and mentor personnel to improve their performance and job satisfaction.

· Cultivate a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Process Optimization:

· Identify and implement process enhancements to boost operational efficiency.

· Apply lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement practices.

· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive plant performance improvements.

Resource Management:

· Oversee the facility's budget, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.

· Ensure optimal use of resources, including equipment and workforce.

· Supervise maintenance and repair of machinery to minimize operational downtime.

Strategic Development:

· Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute long-term strategic plans for the facility.

· Align operational activities with organizational goals and objectives.

· Engage in corporate planning and decision-making initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Background in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Process Control, Warehouse Operations, or a related discipline.

· 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, ideally within the window, door, or woodworking sectors.

· In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and lean manufacturing methodologies.

· Proven success in managing production schedules and enhancing operational efficiency.

· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficient in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
