Job Summary:

Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers programs of Physical Therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and enhance physical and functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, and synthesizes information to establish a patient care plan.
  • Develops and implements evidence-based interventions to meet patient goals, with ongoing assessment and adjustment of the plan as needed.
  • Communicates patient progress to physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff, and coordinates patient schedules and treatment programs.
  • Provides supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians/Aides as required for licensure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • NC license for Physical Therapy required.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced clinical environment, primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors. Schedule: Weekdays, 8A-5P; no weekends; 1:1 patient care; 8 patients per day.
