Eliot, a leader in juvenile justice programming, seeks a licensed Senior Clinician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with clinical issues of children and adolescents, supervisory experience, knowledge of DBT, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with flexibility in schedule. The salary for this role is $70,000 per year, with a 6% bilingual salary increase if fluent in Spanish. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is also available, prorated for positions under 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.
  • Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with program, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.
  • Supervise case management and advocacy for youth.
  • Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live.
  • Attend administrative, staff, shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.
  • Help organize and participate in staff training.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in the Healing Arts and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT or LMHC. At least three years direct experience with the population.
  • Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and substance abuse.
  • At least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Must be proficient in English and possess and convey effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers and supervisor.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
  • Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
