Job Description: As a Construction Intern with Keller, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the construction management field. You will be responsible for assisting with site development, including scheduling, material management, and labor coordination.

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site planning and layout
  • Coordinate with foremen and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
  • Manage inventory and materials on site
  • Perform labor tasks as needed, including carpentry and building erection
  • Attend jobsite meetings and contribute to decision-making processes

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in construction management or a related field
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry-height)
  • Comfortable with heights; required for Building Erection
  • Willingness to travel within the state of WI
  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, stoop and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
  • Operate lift equipment on site
  • Operate hand/power tools and equipment
  • Must possess skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Detailed workmanship
  • Efficiently work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
