Job Summary

The Lead Nurse is a key member of the nursing team, responsible for coordinating clinical operations and activities on their unit. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities and ensure smooth workflow on the nursing unit
  • Provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff
  • Maintain compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate workload assignments and distribute tasks effectively
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • In compliance with the Department of Human Services, a criminal history check is required for this position upon hire
  • 2 years of Nursing experience. Preferably in long-term care

  • Supervisory experience
