Wall Surface Specialist

A Wall Surface Specialist at DoubleTree Boston North Shore is responsible for performing routine to moderately complex surface preparation, painting and finishing tasks on both interior and exterior surfaces.

This position requires a proactive individual who can solve daily challenges while maintaining quality and standards of work. The successful candidate will be skilled in using various methods, media and techniques to apply paint stain varnish enamel and other finishes.

• Cleans and maintains brushes and tools after every painting job.
• Mixes and matches paint colors with additives to obtain desired colors and consistencies.
• Inspects walls and decides upon the number of paint coats required.
• Applies primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.

• A high school diploma and 0-5 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of subject matter and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions, lift/move heavy objects, and possess manual dexterity.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
