Job Summary:
Becker Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. As a Travel ER RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements:
- 1+ year recent travel experience required.
- 3+ years ED experience required.
- Cerner experience preferred.
- NRP Certifications must be done through AHA, ASHI, or ARC (Prior to start preferred).
