We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at UNC Health Care. This role will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment, facilities, and grounds.

About the Job

The Maintenance Technician II will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Corrective maintenance: Identifying and repairing damaged equipment or facility components within 24 hours.
  • Emergency maintenance: Responding to emergency situations and performing work necessary to prevent harm or injury to patients, visitors, or staff.
  • Scheduled maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Service request maintenance: Completing tasks requested by end-users that are not of an emergency nature.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment, facilities, and grounds.
  • Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
