- Provide hair cutting and styling services that align with established guidelines and meet client expectations.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify any contraindications that may affect service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with established protocols.
- Engage with guests throughout their service to ensure satisfaction and address any needs.
- Utilize universal precautions to ensure guest safety during services.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa services and products, effectively communicating their benefits to guests.
- Recommend suitable products for home use and suggest additional treatments available at the spa.
- Document client interactions and treatment notes as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state cosmetology license and any additional credentials required.
- At least one year of customer service experience; prior experience in a spa setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with professional spa services and treatments is advantageous.
- Experience in massage and bodywork is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and explain various services.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Energetic and motivational team player.
