Job OverviewSmith Clinesmith LLP is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and maintaining legal documents, conducting research, and supporting lawyers in trial preparation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist lawyers in preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, conducting research, and coordinating witnesses
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under the guidance of a lawyer
  • Perform administrative duties such as maintaining case files and coordinating with process servers
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about legal issues
Requirements:
  • Strong preference for candidates with a paralegal certification or advanced education
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
  • High-level organizational skills, time-management skills, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively
