Traffic Signal Technician

At Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal/Lighting Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our electrical construction and maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building traffic signals and roadway lighting.

• Assist experienced technicians and foremen with daily tasks and projects
• Learn and develop skills in building traffic signals and roadway lighting, including trenching, conduit placement, electrical services, and concrete foundations
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company and OSHA safety procedures
• Work in outdoor settings and roadways, with versatility and adaptability

• CDL permit level or higher recommended, with the ability to acquire a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire
• 1+ years of experience in electrical construction or a related field (recommended but not required)
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
• Own hand tools and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
