Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedic unit at the University of Rochester. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with orthopaedic trauma and spinal surgery needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
  • An active New York State RN license in good standing
  • Less than 6-12 months of RN experience (Level I) or a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience (Level II)
