The City of Loveland is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Municipal Judge to join our team. As the Presiding Municipal Judge, you will play a critical role in upholding the law and ensuring justice is served in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Preside over the Loveland Municipal Court, ensuring fair and impartial hearings
- Make informed decisions based on the law and evidence presented
- Work closely with the City Manager to ensure effective court operations and resource allocation
- Develop and implement strategies to improve court efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with court staff to provide excellent customer service and support
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- 5 years of experience in municipal court administration or equivalent criminal municipal courtroom experience
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado
- 2 years of experience in a management or leadership position is preferred
The City of Loveland offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $205,000, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits and a dynamic work environment.
