Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients on examining tables and place specified coils close to areas of interest, following protocols requested by radiologists.
  • Enter data, such as patient history, anatomical areas to be scanned, and orientation, into computer systems.
  • Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort through observation and closed-circuit TV screens.
  • View images on video display screens to ensure quality and photograph images as needed.
  • Alert staff to potential dangers of wearing or carrying metal around magnetic equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or related field.
  • State RT License / MR Certified / BLS.
