About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Roofer to lead our commercial roofing crew in the Charlotte area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective installation of projects, leading crew members to maximize productivity and quality, and maintaining a safe and orderly job site.

Main Responsibilities

• Execute all projects as outlined in the Project Package, adhering to safe work practices and external requirements.
• Provide timely project status updates and excellent customer service.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site, meeting production and quality goals.
• Prepare material and equipment requests, document field conditions, and take accurate measurements.
• Resolve issues, prepare incident reports, and provide training and mentoring to elevate crew members.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead a commercial roofing crew.
• Thorough knowledge of roofing safety requirements and manufacturer system requirements.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, details, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and planning abilities.
• Effective leadership and management skills, with a focus on consistency, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package and a safe working environment.
