About the Role

As a skilled Plumber at CBRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems. This includes general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of these systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution systems.
  • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures according to blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
  • Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
  • Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level.
  • Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
