Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Nurse to join our team at Lovington Healthcare. As a Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, and receiving, transcribing, and carrying out physician orders.
  • Assess the work performance of nursing staff and provide feedback to improve unit standards of care and goals.
  • Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
