Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, interpreting evaluation findings to inform treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to achieve established goals, ensuring effective rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel to coordinate treatment programs, promoting seamless care delivery.
  • Provide advice and education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment, progress towards goals, and the need for modifying treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in occupational therapy practices, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid California Occupational Therapy License or license eligibility letter prior to employment.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
