Position Summary

The Production Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly process of our boats, ensuring that each unit meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position requires a blend of physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble the hull and deck components of our boats.
  • Install various hardware and carpeting materials.
  • Apply adhesive materials to ensure structural integrity.
  • Install protective features such as rub rails and heat gaskets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to quality control guidelines and instructions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a labor-intensive role.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Able to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb in and out of boat interiors.
  • Must wear appropriate safety equipment as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
