Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Recovery Support Specialist, you will perform a variety of tasks to support consumers in regaining control of their lives and recovery processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism and ethics
  • Providing effective support and guidance to consumers
  • Collaborating with ODMHSAS staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong understanding of advocacy in recovery, and the ability to become certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist. Depending on the position, additional certifications may be required.
