Job Description:

The Virtus Healthcare Staffing organization is seeking a skilled Critical Care Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care within a 14,000-volume Emergency Department. The selected candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment where their expertise will make a real difference.

About the Role:
As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for the independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma cases. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing comprehensive medical care to patients with various emergency medical conditions.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Performing a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and critical care.
  • Collaborating effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • A minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience with extensive trauma exposure.
  • Eligibility for a North Dakota Medical License.
  • Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.

Virtus Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and benefits packages, including annualized salary ranges from $540,800 to $615,600, depending on employment status, as well as relocation assistance and paid professional liability insurance.
