Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.
- Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, and reports for various projects.
- Organize technical and financial proposals for new work and manage the workload of project discipline engineers and technicians.
- Take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design and prepare technical specifications.
- Monitor financial performance of jobs and ensure that company policy is in keeping with current legislation and relevant building codes.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design in the building services and construction industry.
- Experience working on projects in sectors such as higher education, museums, commercial, transportation hubs, and/or stadiums.
- Relevant bachelor or masters degree and Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification desirable.
- LEED AP accreditation preferred and experience using Revit and computational analysis tools such as electrical fault analysis and lighting design software.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems, client-facing and communication skills, and ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions to clients.
