We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team at Penske Logistics LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking inventory, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, including cycle counts and purchase orders
• Reorder supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations
• Research and resolve store claims in a timely manner
• Process inbound and outbound shipments in the warehouse, ensuring timely departures and arrivals
• Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times, resolving any discrepancies that may arise
• Interact with warehouse associates to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations
• Assist with daily and weekly reports to management
• Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet warehouse metrics and goals
Requirements:
• 2 years of general office experience, with a focus on customer service and logistics
• High School diploma or equivalent required, with advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and AS400 experience preferred
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential for this role, with a willingness to travel as needed
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 25lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
