We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations, preparing patients for radiologic procedures, and operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, providing verbal and written instructions, and assisting with positioning body parts for radiography.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images, adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure patient and team member safety.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow radiologic workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, including preparing patients for physical examinations, taking vital signs, and performing rapid screening tests.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments, applying bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician, in accordance with state regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
