Role Summary:
We are in search of a qualified and experienced Physician Assistant to become a vital member of our Otolaryngology (ENT) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our ENT specialists to deliver comprehensive care to patients dealing with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical history assessments.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Assist in diagnosing and treating ENT-related conditions, such as sinusitis, hearing impairments, and throat issues.
- Perform minor surgical interventions, including biopsies and cerumen removal.
- Prescribe medications and other therapeutic options as necessary.
- Educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment alternatives, and preventive strategies.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Previous experience in ENT or a related specialty is preferred.
- Strong clinical competencies and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
