- Develop and Implement New Protocols: Assist radiologists and PhDs in developing and implementing new protocols and imaging techniques, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging.
- Participate in Research Initiatives: Participate in research initiatives and develop research protocols, contributing to the advancement of medical imaging and diagnostic techniques.
- Lead and Collaborate with Team Members: Act as a team leader, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and Maintain Equipment: Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and performing at optimal levels.
- Provide Patient Education and Support: Provide patient education and support, ensuring patients understand their imaging procedures and any necessary follow-up care.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification and Licensing: ARDMS registered, with certification in Abdominal and Vascular Sonography.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
