We are in search of a dedicated and personable Restaurant Server to become part of our team. This role is essential in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your primary objective will be to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities include taking and serving food and beverage orders, ensuring proper table service, and managing payment transactions.

  • Create memorable experiences for guests through attentive service.

  • Accurately take and serve food and drink orders, with an emphasis on upselling when appropriate.

  • Prepare itemized checks that reflect meal costs and applicable taxes.
  • Deliver checks at the conclusion of meals and handle payment transactions efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with all serving and kitchen staff.
  • Comply with all health department regulations and customer service standards.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor while attending to guests promptly and efficiently.
  • Clear used dishes and utensils from tables and return them to the dishwashing area.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor with a strong focus on hospitality and guest service.
  • Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe working environment while adhering to sanitary practices.
  • Support fellow staff members to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Follow safety and quality guidelines diligently.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues to the best of your ability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a serving or customer service role is preferred, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, or scheduled formats.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Familiarity with reservation and POS systems is advantageous.
  • Competence in using computers and operating software is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
  • Team player mentality is essential.
