Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in commercial tax preparation software and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with service industry customers and preparing business tax returns for this sector.
  • Bookkeeping experience, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of Circular 230 and Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) requirements.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
