Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive and professional nursing services to clients in accordance with established protocols, policies, and client requirements.

- Manage durable medical equipment and medical supplies.
- Communicate with physicians regarding client needs and report any changes in condition.
- Coordinate client care services with community resources and agencies.
- Collaborate with other health divisions and services to ensure efficient client treatment.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating care standards and quality assurance activities.
- Educate staff on infection control practices.
- Provide counseling and education to clients and their families on preventive and rehabilitative measures.
- Supervise and direct less experienced nursing personnel, ensuring proper documentation.
- Submit all required documentation related to client care in accordance with established policies.
- Maintain professional knowledge through research, seminars, workshops, and professional publications.
- Generate weekly work schedules.
- Attend case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings as necessary.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned, contributing to team efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing with three years of nursing experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must hold a valid nursing license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Home Health Nursing experience preferred.
- Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid required.
- Criminal background and National FBI check required upon hire.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
- Fluency in Tohono O'odham Language and English may be necessary based on departmental needs.
