CADD Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled CADD Technician to join our team at Cardinal Civil Resources. As a Survey CADD Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting our civil engineering projects by performing a range of tasks, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks, and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys, and drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Utilize Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (primary) and GIS (secondary) to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure attention to detail and self-motivation, with the ability to think critically and perform mathematical calculations and checking of field data.
- Read and understand plans and specifications, and identify basic sources of measurement errors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- A high school education or equivalent, with a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a civil engineering environment.
- Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
