Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established safety, quality, and performance standards while meeting department accuracy standards.

  • Perform a variety of inventory transactions using computer applications.
  • Create shipment documentation and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Effectively interact with and speak to all levels of organizational staff, customers, and company personnel while maintaining professionalism.
  • Pull (Retrieve) items from inventory and audit material needed for sales orders, work orders, sub-inventory, and/or interorganizational transfers.
  • Label, scan, enter, and process shipping confirmations to customer service, retail, and/or upgrade orders.
  • Provide frequent coverage in multiple areas while meeting performance expectations of each area.
  • Report to work on-site on a regular, predictable, and timely basis.
  • Work variable shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Meet all of DISH's performance expectations, including but not limited to, satisfying all applicable metrics, productivity standards, goals, and expert proficiencies related to overall performance.
Essential Physical Functions

The employee frequently is required to mobilize around the work area, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time. The employee must have the ability to lift up to 45 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other office equipment typically found in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Essential Sensory Functions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk to customers and other employees and hear speech from customers and other employees. The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to, face-to-face communications, over-the-phone communications, and chat messaging communications. The employee must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary.

  • Write and prepare routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Basic use of computers, appropriate applications, and programs to process inventory, orders, and other necessary documents.
  • Speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization whether individually or in groups, including but not limited to, providing updates to management on a daily basis.
  • Be professional in interactions with customers as required.
  • Be proficient with Windows 7 or higher operating system.
  • Occasionally operate multiple computer applications.
  • Ability to act as a mentor and support entry-level employees.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills.
  • Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Draw and interpret bar graphs and diagrams. Understand and interpret reports that include rate, ratio, and percent.
