Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention:Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and implement evidence-based therapy plans to address these needs.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and ensure seamless communication.
  • Case Load Management:Manage a moderate case load of students with varying communication needs, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • SLP Requirements:
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia.
  • CFY Requirements:
    • Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia.
