**About the Role**

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UC San Diego is seeking a talented biostatistician to join its research faculty. This role will play a crucial part in developing a sustainable departmental analytics program, supporting research programs within the seven divisions, and providing expertise to other faculty and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and analyze data from clinical trials, implementation science projects, and epidemiologic investigations
  • Develop statistical methodology, conduct statistical analysis, and prepare statistical and scientific reports and publications
  • Mentor and teach trainees, as well as cultivate collaborations with researchers

Requirements:

  • PhD in biostatistics or a related field
  • Current research program with at least one year of productivity in peer-reviewed publications
  • Extramural grant funding and experience in obtaining funding
  • At least one year of experience in teaching and mentorship activities

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of $118,000 - $309,900, with annual salary negotiations
  • Additional compensation may be available through membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan
