Nurse Practitioner Role Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Universal Health Services. As an NP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, formulating and recording ongoing assessments of patients' medical, physical, and psychosocial status throughout the course of treatment.

Job Summary:
  • The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or higher in Nursing with specialization in family practice nursing.
  • They will possess a current RN and NP license in the State of Alaska and a current DEA certificate.
  • They will be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the primary healthcare of patients of all ages.
  2. Formulate and record ongoing assessments of patients' medical, physical, and psychosocial status.
  3. Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  4. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan patient care.
  5. Document all medical evaluations, diagnosis, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with state and federal laws and any applicable accrediting bodies.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree or higher in Nursing with specialization in family practice nursing.
  • A current RN and NP license in the State of Alaska.
  • A current DEA certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
