We are seeking an experienced Tai Chi Instructor to join our team at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky. As a Tai Chi Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Tai Chi classes to Veterans as part of the Whole Health Program.

About the Role

Job Summary: Teach Tai Chi classes to Veterans, document patient participation and outcomes, and contribute to the growth of the Whole Health Program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Tai Chi classes to Veterans, promoting relaxation, balance, and overall well-being
  • Document patient participation and outcomes in the VA Electronic Medical Record
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:

  • 150 documented hours of formal training and certification by ATCQGA
  • CPR certification or completion of BLS through the VA
