Job Title: Production Quality Engineer

Location: Mansfield, MA

Salary: Ranging from $90,000 to $115,000 annual

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Quality Engineer to join our team at CATSearch HR Consultancy Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality on the production floor, training and supporting operators and quality inspectors, and monitoring quality during production runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure product quality meets industry standards and company expectations.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to prevent defects and improve overall quality.
  • Collaborate with production managers to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Train and support operators and quality inspectors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including procedures, checklists, and reports.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in the plastics industry.
  • Must have production floor experience.
  • ASQ certification is a bonus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
