About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our injection molding processes and ensuring the highest quality standards for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the main KPIs related to injection molding.
- Design and construct devices aimed at process rationalization.
- Handle procurement, commissioning, and optimization of peripheral machinery.
- Conduct sampling of new tools and materials.
- Initiate and optimize machine operations.
- Propose enhancements to existing processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with material producers to coordinate process data.
- Manage sampling and setup for new product lines.
- Approve processes for customer project fitters.
- Focus on scrap reduction and improvement of tool/machine cycle times.
- Generate handover and shift reports.
- Foster the development of people skills within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role, particularly in plastic shaping with a focus on injection molding.
- Familiarity with organizational structures, tools, and specific requirements for molded parts.
- Proficient in removal techniques, programming techniques, and pneumatics.
