Gynecologic Oncology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Gynecologic Oncology Department at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Job Summary:This is a unique opportunity to work alongside respected and collegial gynecologic oncologists in a well-established practice. As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patients throughout their disease journey.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attending physicians in obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and reviewing diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
- Formulate and manage patient treatment plans, including chemotherapy.
- Provide paid call coverage, including rounding at least one weekend per month.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.
- Active PA or NP Connecticut State License.
- BLS certification and DEA License.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in Women's Health or oncology preferred, but not required.
