Job Overview

MacPhail Center for Music seeks a skilled Piano Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and the ability to teach students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach individual piano lessons to students of varying levels
  • Establish a positive learning environment and foster a love of music in students
  • Manage studio and group classes, including recruitment, lesson planning, and scheduling
  • Participate in the keyboard department and contribute to the overall work and mission of MacPhail Center for Music
  • Comply with COVID-19 policies

Qualifications:

  • Music degree or certification
  • Minimum of three years of piano studio teaching experience
  • Effective communication skills and cultural competency

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently sitting, repetitive wrist motion, and grasping/pinching
  • Occasionally lifting, standing, and keyboarding
