Overview:
Quinnipiac University's Nursing Program is seeking applications for adjunct faculty to oversee clinical education for undergraduate nursing students. This role involves providing guidance in pediatric health specialties.
We welcome both seasoned and novice nurse educators to apply.
Our Nursing Program fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, offering mentorship and training to assist nurse educators who are new to clinical instruction.
Responsibilities:
Facilitating the education and supervision of undergraduate nursing students in clinical environments
Collaborating with course coordinators to ensure pre-licensure students meet course objectives
Assessing student clinical performance and written assignments
Education Requirements:
Required:
Master’s degree in nursing
Required:
Valid RN or APRN license in Connecticut
Current or recent clinical practice experience
Qualifications:
Active practice in a clinical or educational setting
Experience in teaching nursing students in clinical settings is preferred
Ability to demonstrate effective instructional techniques in clinical environments
Proven capability to engage with diverse populations and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
