Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neurologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a Cerebral Palsy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents in our clinical area.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate the provision of medical care to patients in our clinical area.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure high-quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement and research activities.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS or PALS certification required.
  • Current DEA registration.

Our Pediatric Neurology Division is a team of 22 neurologists, soon to become 25, who are all faculty members in the Department of Pediatrics at the Emory School of Medicine. We are expanding our division to meet the needs of the growing pediatric community.

Our Pediatric Neurosciences Program is ranked 12th in the USA by USNWR and one of the largest in the country, handling more than 2,400 pediatric neurological inpatient cases and performing over 1,400 neurosurgeries each year.
