Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Procedures Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a Special Procedures Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Dakota or a compact state agreement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

•Indoor: Continuously (67-100%)
•Outdoor: Not Applicable
•Extreme Temperature: Not Applicable

Driving Requirement Definitions:
  • Professional Drivers: Persons who drive as their main responsibility OR transport passengers or hazardous materials.
  • Frequent Drivers: Persons whose main responsibility is not driving, but drive daily or almost daily.
  • Occasional Drivers: Persons who drive from once per month to as frequently as once per week.
  • Infrequent Drivers: Persons who are generally not expected to drive.
